We recently had a customer who wanted a paint job on an old Royal portable manual typewriter. They found a place that use's a  powercoat hardened paint. So we striped machine & took emblems & trim & paper stand & hinges Etc from the case & sent case part pieces out to paint. While machine was apart we did a light chemical flush & lube, Clean & Service. Reassemble parts onto freshly painted piece's & reattached them very very carefully. Fine aligned all gaps & final polish. Install fresh cotton black & red ribbon & took for a test type.....
